A New Year Dawns at Galveston, Texas

We muddled through 2006, failed to make it out for dinner on our 30^th Wedding Anniversary.

Mick continued to work as a consultant for the Huawei, visiting Vienna, England, Athens, San Jose and Atlanta. Next year he’s looking forward to meetings in Vancouver, Beijing and Nashville.

Nigel started his second year at the University of Texas at Dallas, studying Physics.

Shawn started his final year (yeah!) at A&M in College Station; he will get a degree in entomology with a minor in genetics. He wants to do a Masters Degree, researching the genetics of Luna moths.

Kathleen was in Marching Band this Fall as a Band Manager, no actual marching, but she went to all the practices events and football games.

Mary continued as President of the Neighborhood Association, on the City’s Historic Preservation Advisory Board and to campaign actively for the November elections. Rockwall is a pocket of Republican hold-outs, but in 2008 this is sure to change!

In November Mary & Mick had a vacation in Puerto Rico courtesy of Chris & Neil,

We ate ourselves silly over Christmas Holidays and now it’s on to exercise and healthy eating.
